The 7 Natural Laws of the Universe
The Law of Attraction is just part of one of the 7 natural laws of the Universe: the Law of Vibration. Of the 7 Laws, it may be the most important in how our everyday lives play out, but all of the laws are in effect whether we are aware of them or not. Knowing what the 7 laws are and how they work can make a significant difference in applying them to create the life you truly desire.
The 7 natural laws are in no particular order, but since the Law of Attraction has been discussed so much in The Secret, we’ll start with it.
The Law of Vibration states that everything vibrates and nothing rests. Vibrations of the same frequency resonate with each other, so like attracts like energy. Everything is energy, including your thoughts. Consistently focusing on a particular thought or idea attracts its vibrational match. How to apply it: Focus on what you want instead of what you don’t want.
The Law of Relativity states that nothing is what it is until you relate it to something. Point of view is determined by what the observer is relating to. The nature, value, or quality of something can only be measured in relation to another object. How to apply it: Practice relating your situation to something worse than yours, and you will feel good about where you are.
The Law of Cause and Effect states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Every cause has an effect, and every effect has a cause. Be at cause for what you desire, and you will get the effect. All thought is creative, so be careful what you wish for… you will get it. How to apply it: Consistently think and act on what you desire to be effective at getting it.
The Law of Polarity states that everything has an opposite. Hot-Cold, Light-Dark, Up-Down, Good-Bad. In the absense of that which you are not, that which you are… is not. Polar opposites make existence possible. If what you are not didn’t coexist with what you are, then what you are could not be. Therefore, do not condemn or criticize what you are not or what you don’t want. How to apply it: Look for the good in people and situations. What you focus on, you make bigger in your life.
The Law of Rythym states that everything has a natural cycle. The tides go in and back out, night follows day, and life regenerates itself. We all have good times and bad times, but nothing stays the same. Change is constant. Knowing that “This too shall pass” is great wisdom about life’s ebb and flow. How to apply it: When you are on a down swing, know that things will get better. Think of the good times that are coming.
The Law of Gestation states that everything takes time to manifest. All things have a beginning and grow into form as more energy is added to it. Thoughts are like seeds planted in our fertile minds that bloom into our physical experience if we have nourished them. How to apply it: Stay focused and know that your goals will become reality when the time is right.
The Law of Transmutation states that energy moves in and out of physical form. Your thoughts are creative energy. The more you focus your thinking on what you desire, the more you harness your creative power to move that energy into results in your life. The Universe organizes itself according to your thoughts. How to apply it: Put your energy and effort, your thoughts and actions into attracting what you desire, and you will surely attract the physical manifestation of that energy.
The 7 Natural Laws of the Universe are working with you and for you. Take charge of your life by focusing on what you want, and by law, you will have it.

I think the only good advice is: Look for the good in people, and also the part about focusing on what you want as opposed to what you don’t want. I just skimmed through it. I don’t think that these are actual laws of the universe. In fact they aren’t laws at all. they are just words that someone typed about thoughts etc.
sorry but I disagree with what you are saying. If you actually pay close attention most of these are actual laws in physics, but used in a more philosophical way, for example the law of cause and effect is actually the 3rd law of newton, and its true in physics as it is in our social lives if you push something its evedently you will be pushed back.
You obviously haven’t read my life’s experiences using the Laws or you would not have made your statement!

I’m sorry, no, these are not laws of physics used in any philosophical way. They are half baked ideas with scientific-sounding names tacked on to impress the gullible.
I think that looking for the good in people and situations is a sound rule, and it seems to me that concentrating on what you want rather than on what you aren’t interested in is pretty elementary.
Most of the rest of it is just a big bunch of muddled well-intentioned hooey.

lately i have been contemplating exactly what your definition is. However, I have a difficulty discounting balance both physical and emotional, in my pea brain view both could/should not be discounted too much when developing a definition of Laws of the Universe.

to be technical, time, Gravity etc are actually FORCES as opposed to LAWS of physics that state what those forces do

and people forget that this saying is derived from the Force of Gravity and the Laws of “Forces and Motion” in Physics
When you actually get into Physics and Chemisty, and… i will also state that it’s useful to know Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering to fully understand these laws
When you get into these things, And you understand them, Things become Clear.
However not everyone understands them, and thus they disagree (and that right there, is cause and effect… right)
Things Like “Potential”, then Lets think about “Electrical Potential”
what does this mean…..
in simple Terms…
Electricity is Literally Electrons in a conductor, like a copper wire (think of them as little metal Balls in a plastic tube )
Now.. Let’s say for example 1 Ball = 1 Volt
therefore , if you have 1000 Balls, you have 1000 Volts (this is just an example ok, 1 electron does not = 1 Volt LOL)
Now.. 1000 Volts is Easily more than enough to kill you
as a base reference (in australia) Low voltage is defined as 43.4 Volts AC (Even that is fatal)
the point is, if electrons move through a conductor and you touch the conductor and you are a conductor yourself,
those electrons will then pass through you
if the amount of electrons passing through you, Exceeds Your body’s maximum Tolerance for the electrons, You Die
Now.. How do the Electrons Move through the conductor
ELECTRO MOTIVE FORCE
think of EMF as Air Pushing the Metal Balls through the plastic Tubes
You can interpret this EMF as AMPS as opposed to Volts
so… AMPS Push Volts Through a Conductor
if there are no AMPS the Volts (aka Electrons) Don’t move , and therefore you don’t die
to the lamen person this would mean “i didn’t die because there was no electricity”
but.. that’s Bullshit,
there was 1000 Volts of Electrical Potential that was ready and waiting (so.. it’s physically there)
but the Lack of EMF causes the Volts to not move
NOW.. WHAT DOES ALL THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE UNIVERSE

We Have Potential in our Lifes (That’s a Fact)
But it’s a question of … is there a Motivational force behind our potential to push us to where we need to get to

THEREFORE,, The Same EMF that Exists in the Conductor can exist in Us
if the laws of physics apply to the Conductor and Electricty
they they apply to us
Whether the Conductor is Concious of the law is irrelevant, the Law will takes it course either way
Whether you are Concious of these laws or whether you agree with them or not…. IS IRRELEVANT

I like this list of laws. It’s interesting that the Law of Transmutation is included which is what Alchemy is all about yet is a very little known subject. You can transform negative energies into positive and dissolve duality. Although the law is listed, the definition is very vague.

One person who really understood Universal Laws and helped many others to relate to them and change their lives for the better was Edgar Cayce.He states that the physical–mental –and spiritual parts of our being are all effected by the Universal Laws! I’d appreciate any help in tracking down additional credible sources, of which I’m sure there are multiple for such ancient and foundational wisdom. What authors, books, resources also speak of the Laws of the Universe? Any insight will be appreciated.

Let’s try and remember that these Laws Have nothing to do with Spirituality or God, these are Laws of Physics. IT’S THAT SIMPLE
but.. the bible does also make reference to this stuff, and thereby strengthening the point

There is in fact a sunken city in the Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Egypt, and there’s a good chance that this real event, a city sinking into the mud, is the basis for a lot of mythology that has arisen in the centuries since.
A lot of the logic involved follows the model of “George Washington slept in that bed, and there’s the bed so that proves it” though, so a firm foundation doesn’t guarantee a sound building.

I have always wondered if God put these laws in place to help even more of his children end up back home with him. Especially if his children were working hard at understanding bible stories that have been benevolently rewritten. The laws always work. They are flawlessly certain whether an individual has ever been enlightened by them or not. They are constant whether one heeds them on purpose, or not. They are truth. It could be that these laws exist merely to help us hold ourselves accountable for what we have here, and in the hereafter. They may even help one learn to hold oneself accountable for what one chooses to think, say, and do. Working within these laws consistently would most assuredly promote quality relationships, spiritual happiness, tangible desires, as well as, leading to more understandings.

Many people aren’t aware of these laws and these laws are of utmost importance in any individual’s life. If a person apprehends these immutable laws that are inevitably there, I think, he or she’d experience a better life and a prosperous future. What about Law of Abundance and the Law of Consequences…??! Why do speak of the Unconditional Nature of Everything…??! (E.g., with respect to Open mindedness, Love…) and the same time we speak of Cause…??! Is the Nature of Love determined by a Cause…??! (Doesn’t the very presence of Cause, imply a condition, something contained…??! Why then Speak of Free Will…??! Is this not a contradiction…??!
Loose the Karma…!!! forget the law of Attraction, eliminate the Cause…!!! Accept the Everything and the Nothing unconditionally…!!! Trust thy Self…!!! Be passionate, determined and considerate… Embrace humility and forgiveness…!!! Exist only in the Presence… and Live LIFE Unconditionally…!!!

Well, if the law of attraction does exist. Why does it happen that sometimes we believe that this will happen and keep thinking about it but even after that it doesn’t happen. I’ll give an example to make it clear. I believed i will get at least 93 % marks in my final year school exams, though i only got 87% marks. I truly believed and thought about getting 93 % but i still didn’t get them. There are thousand other examples in which our beliefs dont come true. Does that mean the Law of attraction is false ? If not ,then explain why our thoughts don’t manifest sometimes ?
The Law of Attraction left out one important aspect, when it comes to results in your career. You must work for it.
What they stated in that book is, that you can think, and then it will happen.
That is not entirely true.
What IS true, is that your focus makes you work in a specific direction, which creates what you desire. But if you simply think and dream, nothing will happen.
Of course what you focus on, can “manifest” in certain areas.
If you walk down the street, and feel hunger, you will focus on food. And suddenly you will become aware of all the food shops in your surroundings.
So focus can make you aware. However, you still need to walk into one of those food shops and order food, before you get it.
The same thing goes for your career.
If you focus on good results, you must start working for them. You will find, that you will be open to opportunities which you didn’t notice before, but you still have to act. Which in your case would be, reading your material and learning it by heart.
When that’s said, I must say, that often when I work towards a goal, things start happening in my environment. Things fall into place. Even things I didn’t touch. So don’t completely loose faith in LOA. What you focus on, and work for, will attract more of the same.

This is a quite important thing they left out in the book / movie “The Secret”. Here it was only about believing. But believing isn’t enough. We must deserve as well. By working hard.
Conceive, believe, and achieve====CBA and believe you deserve it!! The opportunity will arrive! You have to be able to recognize it when it arrives, It’s the Law ,it works, I can give you many examples.

When Chet Huntley of NBC news in 1971 retired and went to Montana to build the BIG Sky Ski Resort I went with him and built the first 2 Ski Lodges…However he needed a few million to build the sky lifts and 2 villages six miles apart.He was on His way to Denver,Co. to talk to the banks there that financed Vail, Steamboat and a couple of others. Another passenger recognized him and asked him what he was doing.
He explained and showed him his plans. The gentleman said if he did’t get the money in Denver to stop and see him on his way back to NYC.
He was the president of Chrysler and he gave Chet 15 million to start his project. The Law of Attraction at work.!! He attracted the only person that could or would finance his project.A similar incident happened to me when I was ready to seek financing for my Lodges.
I am in the process of writing my memoirs and will have many examples of the Universal Laws working in my and other lives.

Good post. Thanks. But I think it is still incomplete list. How nature’s laws i.e. Nature balances itself, Live & let live, Might is right, Survival of fittest, Acts/duties happened as per one’s true nature/Instince(eg. parenting)(Dharma) and acts done with consicious mind(Karma) are covered in these laws?

In my heart I Believe in it. But my intellect often has its doubts and it continues for sometime. However I am still surprised at how things have worked out for me! I want to believe in magic.
True. Intellect is often working from the left brain. The area of logic.
If things can not be proven, they probably don’t exist.
This is the big fight many of us walk around with.
In my opinion, just be open minded. Time will show you what to believe.
And no matter what you may choose, just be happy. That’s the most important law of them all.

the law of gestation may refer to the law of gender, from what i’ve seen, but there was also something about everything has a feminine side a nd a masculine site, not only the gestation period.
Also there was the everything is energy/mind law. which was the first law. Yes, read the Kybalion.

Ever since I started learning these types of laws I think my life has changed for the better, because its a very positive message. It just feels good and right.
I just recently started reading up on the laws of the universe, I think its very interesting. I agree with a lot if what I have read so far. I have always knew that I could heal myself from sickness by my thoughts. The problem I do have is, how does christianity of relilgion fit in? Some websites qoute bible scriptures and refer to jesus. I myself just came out of christianity because I feel its a big fat lie. I must say I definetly know there is a creator.

I don’t believe the laws have anything to do with religion.
The fact that people can find relations between religion and life laws, makes sense, since the religions are based on the world where it was created. But religion is created by man, I believe, to put a red line to our lives. To give us something to hold on to. To give us an understanding of things.
Life laws are created by the energy of the universe. Which I believe, is the creator.
I feel that we are all talking about the same thing, wether we put a personality and name to it, or if we just choose to call it energy.
If some people want to connect the laws with religion, that’s great. If they don’t, that’s great too.
I believe we must find our own understanding of things. In a “language” we can relate to.

The Laws of the Universe are there and will always be there.. This is something we should learn to practice in our daily lives, either you like it or not the Laws of the Universe are taking effect in your life. Instead of fighting them. Learn to embrace them and become a master of your own destiny..personally, i love the Law of Vibration.. Works everytime i apply it..every time.

Brian Tracy makes a good distinction between ‘man made laws’ and ‘natural laws’.
You can violate the former, and not get caught, such as speeding or jumping the queue.
Natural laws on the other hand operate 100% of the time and cannot be violated.

Ok this is what I would like to know. There is one that stuck out in my head, and it was the last one Law of Transmutation. I guess is how u spell it.
Ok here is the deal. I know it doesn’t makes sense and it sounds crazy …..but my kids have even experienced and notice it them selves.
I come up with all these really neat creative ideas and I focus on them a lot and I start making plans on doing it, or doing research on it, to know how to go about doing it. and u know what. It never fails.
I never have the money to invest in what I want to invest in, and u know what, their is my idea being done by someone else. That is one example.
Another I can find a house that I really like, that I am hoping I can buy, and guess what, before I get the money to do it, someone else comes along and buys, before I even have a chance too.
Another example I will start liking a certain color a certain style, and guess what everybody else starts liking it the same color and style.
Ok now can u help me understand what this all about.
Another example I start liking someone a whole lot, and before nobody really took too much mind or attention to them, but as soon as I start liking them a lot, and others see it, guess what, they start liking them a lot.
Ok, so yea, this is what seems to happen to me all the time. Is it just pure bad luck or what.
I tell people sometimes I feel like I am cursed, so do u understand I don’t.
I pray. I don’t go out of my way to hurt others. I don’t beat people up, bully them or anything like that. I don’t drink. I don’t do drugs.
Because I know some people talk about Karma, so I thought well, what did I do so wrong, to cause all this anguish and suffering in my life. If u have anything that might help me that could possibly enlighten me that would be great ……..

There are several things, which I believe is going on here…
1) Your creative ideas: I believe we are all connected to one source. For that reason, many of us, get the same thoughts, ideas etc. at the same time. I’ve tried that too, and the only conclusion I can make is, well, I didn’t get there first.
2) The house: I can imagine you were not the only person who really liked that house. Lots of us have the sames likes and dislikes, so we will often see, that things are bought by someone else.
My thought on that is, that if someone bought it before you had the chance, then this house was not ment for you. Something else will come your way. And it will become a part of your life, before someone else have a chance.
3) Color & Style: Designers are guiding us into liking or disliking certain colors & styles. It’s a process, that we are all exposed to, often without even knowing it. So this years color and style is building up to next year. And they kind of know, what you will like in half a year, since they programme you themselves.
4) The Someone: It only takes one to start a group. And that is what is going on here I believe. What this example shows is, that your oppinion matters. So if you like someone, that someone must have something to them. And then others take an extra look and see, that this someone is not so bad. This is not a curse, but rather a sign, that you have people’s respect for your opinions. At lest, that is what I believe is happening.
I don’t believe you are cursed Cherrie. I believe you are a part of humanity. Many of us with same ideas, likes, etc.
My recommendation is to focus on the good things in your life, and release the less good. I’m sure you will see, that you are much more blessed than cursed.
Eg. You have kids. I’m guessing you are fairly healthy. You get food every day. You have a bed to sleep in. You have friends and family. You live in a society, where most people can afford a tv, a computer and/or other electronics.
All these things are blessings. And far from all people have these blessing in their lives.
My experience tells me, that if you focus on your blessings, the less great things will not matter so much to you anymore. Because you have a lot already.

How come every time I search for these laws every page is different? For example some pages talk about the law of Mentalism while this one doesn’t. Is there a legit list?

I have a perplexing question that has been troubling me for some time. I love my job. I provide a window cleaning service in a beautiful part of the world. I earn a great living from it. I would love it even more if I provided the service for free to everyone. It makes me so happy to make people happy with my service. However, we all need money to live and I feel this takes away from the true enjoyment of my daily work. My question is if I just started providing my service for free and put all my energy into my work and of the moment, giving all I can, would the money to support my self manifest in other ways due to the laws of the universe?
I would love to get in the morning and help people, not worrying about the money side of it. Please let me know what you think,

As nice as it sounds, I would not recommend you to work for free, since you need to earn money for food and shelter.
I know your feeling. I would love to offer my services for free as well. Since what drives me, is making people happy with what I have to offer. However, if I worked for free, I would be very hungry. And having no place to relax and recharge for the next day would mean, that I would not be able to offer my services at all.
As the Law of Transmutation states: Put your energy and effort, your thoughts and actions into attracting what you desire.
And what you desire is to make people happy via your window cleaning service. And to do so, you must have energy and good health.
So take of yourself, so you can take care of others.

The bible was written inside the past 2000 years, david Attenborough was on TV the other night holding a piece of Amber and entrapped in that Amber was a house fly, it was dated at 40 million old, where do we stand with Jerusalem and 2000 years in light of that revelation?
Well, with everything beliefs always come first. As for those who claimed that some of these laws are derive from physics and explain in philosophy shouldn’t forget that philosophy is the MOTHER of all science or rather knowledge. I think this is good laws for who want to study physic in first time ::)) but it just suggest only lines of picture not a whole thing.
These are the 7 hermetic philosophical principles written in the times of ancient EGYPT by Hermes Trismegistus, recorded and interpreted in a book written in 1908 called the kybalion. Quite brilliant considering these ideas came into being millennia ago, and modern science compliments it quite well. Highly suggest reading the kybalion, great philosophy read!
